Traffic RestrictionsStretches of Chandler Boulevard, Frye, Alma School, Pecos, Cooper, Ray and McQueen roads will be restricted from 6-11 a.m., Sunday, April 30, during a half-marathon and 5K run that will traverse the central part of the City. The SHE Power Half Marathon & 5K Run will see runners navigate a course that starts and ends downtown on the west side of Arizona Avenue near Buffalo street. Traffic will be shifted to one side of a street to allow for a safe running lane. Police officers will be stationed along the route to assist with traffic management and residents living along the route may need to use an alternate route into and out of their neighborhood. Event information is available online at

Also, lane restrictions at the intersection of Gilbert and Germann roads will occur between the hours of 5 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday, May 1, through Friday, May 5. The intersection will remain open and a police officer will assist with traffic control. The work will repair sections of pavement on the west side of the intersection.
